Cornerstone VNA Offers Free Hospice Volunteer Training

Cornerstone VNA will be hosting a free, comprehensive 8-week Hospice Volunteer Training Program beginning on April 26, 2016. Being a Hospice Volunteer is a rewarding and enriching experience. For as little as 2-4 hours per week, volunteers can offer companionship and respite care to patients and families in the community. This training program will help volunteers learn how to provide support such as running errands, light housekeeping, cooking or simply spending time with a patient. No previous medical or volunteer experience is necessary to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
