Ann Vennard Named As Assistant Director of Advancement

Cornerstone VNA is pleased to announce that Ann Vennard has been named as the Assistant Director of Advancement. In her role, Ms. Vennard will oversee and expand the commendable volunteer program and work with the Advancement team on marketing and communications efforts, event planning, stewardship and community engagement. Ms. Vennard brings with her a depth of knowledge in community and media relations, event organization and marketing, having previously served as Membership and Community Relations Manager at NH MADE in Epping, NH. Her experience also includes working as a Resource Coordinator for Options in Community Living in Hampton, NH and teaching on Native American Indian reservations in both New Mexico and Montana. “Ann will serve a very important role in the Advancement Department,” states Erika Lee, Director of Advancement at Cornerstone VNA. “As the Assistant Director of Advancement, she will make solid contributions to advancing the mission of Cornerstone VNA, utilizing her skills and expertise in brand recognition, volunteer management and public relations.” Ms. Vennard earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maine in Farmington. Over the years she has served on the NH Farmers Market Association board, the NH Farm and Forest Expo board and currently serves on the Rollinsford Education Foundation committee as well as the Friends of the Rollinsford Public Library board. She resides in Rollinsford with her husband and twin daughters.

Cornerstone VNA Recognized with 2016 Year of Service Award

Cornerstone VNATownsquare Media NH recently announced that Cornerstone VNA was one of the recipients of the 2016 Year of Service Award. In its 29th year, the Year of Service award is a comprehensive on-air and digital program designed to make a significant contribution to local non-profit organizations on The Shark 105.3 & 102.1 FM, and on WOKQ 97.5 FM. It consists of one $100,000 campaign, and multiple quarterly awards spread out over both stations and their digital platforms. As a 2nd Quarter Award Winner, Cornerstone VNA will be able to record special Public Service Announcements that will be on-air from May 23 – August 21. “This award is pivotal in terms of increasing awareness of the comprehensive programs and services that Cornerstone VNA provides within our communities. Erika Lee Named As Director of Advancement

Cornerstone VNA is pleased to announce that Erika Lee has been named as the Director of Advancement. In her role, Ms. Lee will be responsible for marketing and communications, event planning and fund development. She will also oversee the research and writing of grants as well as the exemplary volunteer program at Cornerstone VNA. Ms. Lee brings with her a wealth of experience in health care administration having served as Development Director for 11 years at SeaCare Health Services in Exeter, NH. Her experience also includes working as the Strategic Planning Associate at Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH, and Regional Operations Coordinator at HEALTHSOUTH New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn, MA.

Ms. Lee earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy and her Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Over the years she has participated in charity bike events and has volunteered for Northeast Passage, a non-profit organization and program of the Recreation Management and Policy Department at UNH that provides barrier free recreation for people with physical disabilities. She has served as a Board Member for Catamount Womenaid and the Council on Fundraising (CONFR). She currently resides in Northwood with her husband and two children.
