Photographer Jane Wingate Donates To Cornerstone VNA

Rochester, NH: The month of September marks the 20th anniversary of Timeless Framing. Conveniently located in the Lilac Plaza North, 189A Wakefield Street in Rochester, Timeless Framing has been serving the greater Seacoast area with quality picture framing services since 1994. To celebrate this special event, Farmington photographer and writer Jane Wingate will be donating 40% of the proceeds from the sale of her photos, notecards and matted or framed prints at Timeless Framing to Cornerstone VNA.

For three decades, Ms. Wingate has been photographing the woods, rivers, streams, swamps and ponds of Strafford County. She has also photographed extensively out west, as well as in Italy, Britain, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, and more recently in Portugal. To view her work visit

Ms. Wingate’s photos and essays have been published in numerous publications including N.H. Magazine, Outdoor Photographer, Rangefinder, The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Post, The Houston Chronicle and Ararat magazine. Her images have also been published by Inner Reflections calendars and by Red Oak greeting cards.

On September 20th from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Timeless Framing will be hosting a celebration to thank their many friends and loyal customers. Jane Wingate will be there to showcase her work and answer any questions that you may have about her photography.

Extended Family and Portsmouth’s Senior Services are pleased to offer an information session about Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias at the Portsmouth Library in the Levenson Meeting Room on Tuesday, September 9 at 6:00pm

J. Bludau, M.D., Elliot Memory & Mobility Center, will give an update on Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias including the latest on diagnosis and treatment. The talk will also touch upon what is currently understood about prevention. Bring your questions and the doctor will be happy to answer them.

Dr Juergen H. Bludau was born in Germany and educated in England. He received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his postgraduate studies in the USA. He is a board-certified, Harvard fellowship-trained geriatrician, and the Executive Medical Director of Geriatrics and Home Care of the Elliot Health System. Prior to his current position he was the Clinical Chief and Director of the clinical geriatric services at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Division of Aging. He is board member of the Massachusetts/NH Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the current Co-chair of the Medical Scientific advisory board. Dr. Bludau is also the chair of the Diagnosis, Treatment and Care Work Group of the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders State Plan. In the past Dr. Bludau was on the governor’s appointed, Florida Statewide Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Council. He is the author of “Aging, but never old” and the co-author of “Alzheimer’s Disease” in the series Biographies of Disease.

Cornerstone VNA Welcomes Andrea Patrick-Baudet as Hospice Director

Andrea - smJulie Reynolds, CEO of Cornerstone VNA is pleased to announce Andrea Patrick-Baudet RN, CHPN, CHPCA as Director of the Hospice Program.  Ms. Patrick-Baudet brings with her a wealth of hospice care experience having served in a variety of leadership positions in hospice during her career.  Her experience includes Hospice Director of Nursing at Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association in Concord, NH, Director of Clinical Operations at SolAmor Hospice in Middleton, MA, Director of Nursing at New England Life Care in Concord, NH, and Director of Clinical Operations for Seacoast Hospice in Exeter, NH.   In her role as Hospice Director, Ms. Patrick-Baudet will be responsible to provide the leadership for the overall management of the hospice program to ensure that patients and their families receive trusted, compassionate and expert care utilizing the most current technology and practices.

“We are most fortunate to have Andrea Patrick-Baudet lead our hospice team,” states Julie Reynolds, CEO.  “She is profoundly committed to the hospice philosophy and dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with a life-limiting illness.”

Ms. Patrick-Baudet earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire and her degree in Nursing from the New Hampshire Community Technical College graduating cum laude.  She is certified as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) and Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator (CHPCA). She currently resides in Newmarket with her husband and two children.

Hospice is a holistic approach to caring for people who have a life limiting illness.  It involves a team of trained specialists available 24 hours a day who provides medical care, pain and symptom management along with emotional and spiritual support tailored to an individual’s needs and wishes.  It is a concept of care that can be provided anywhere that a patient calls home such as a private residence, nursing home, assisted living or hospital.  The goal is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to the patient as well as support to the family and caregivers.  Click here to learn more about Hospice Care.
